Include Rafael Robinson in City of St. Pete STEM funding

The Issue

Rafael Robinson has been a beacon of inspiration and leadership in Pinellas County, particularly in the field of STEM education. I've known Rafael since grade school, and throughout the years, his unwavering dedication to teaching, fostering a thirst for knowledge among our youth, and advocating for STEM programs has set him apart as a visionary in our community. His commitment deserves acknowledgment and support as the City of St. Pete embarks on a commendable initiative to expand STEM education.

Recently, the City Council approved a sizable investment of $750,000 over the next three years to enhance STEM education and enrichment programs for students in St. Pete. This effort, earmarked for organizations like Stem Xposure Inc. led by Robyn Donaldson and Sakeya Do, is a crucial step towards empowering our youth with essential skills for the future.

However, it is imperative that this investment also includes passionate educators like Rafael Robinson, who have consistently demonstrated excellence and innovation in teaching STEM principles. Rafael has not only inspired countless students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, but he has also worked tirelessly to create inclusive environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background.

By including Rafael Robinson in this funding initiative, the city will ensure that these educational efforts are amplified and reach even more students across Pinellas County. Rafael's participation will undoubtedly enhance the program's effectiveness and provide students with an unparalleled learning experience.

Let's recognize and reward the impactful work of educators like Rafael Robinson, whose contributions to STEM education are invaluable. Urge the City of St. Pete to include Rafael in this vital funding program to continue nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders. Please sign this petition to advocate for his inclusion and to support a brighter future for our students in Pinellas County.

I’m deeply grateful for people like Shannon Ligon  individuals who see the work, believe in the mission, and choose to stand beside others when they don’t have to. Your unwavering support, advocacy, and willingness to speak up means more than words can express. ❤️
AEDI Foundation was built from a heart to serve children and create hands-on STEM opportunities that inspire future leaders and problem-solvers. We may not always have the loudest voice or biggest platform, but we have always had the community.
Today, I’m asking our village: if you believe every child deserves opportunity and every community voice deserves a seat at the table, please stand with us. Help support AEDI Foundation and help ensure this work continues to grow. Together, our voices are stronger. Click the link and Sign the petition.
