The holiday transcends national borders, celebrated not only in Iran but also in countries like Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and many parts of Central Asia. It is a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

By not featuring Nowruz, Google misses an opportunity to honor the rich diversity of its users and the inclusive values it champions. Including Nowruz in its holiday calendar and creating a commemorative doodle would not only acknowledge Persian culture but also educate millions about its rich historical traditions.
