Disney Plus has become a staple in many households, providing a wide array of entertainment for all ages. However, there is an important demographic that is currently underrepresented - children with sensory processing disorders. One show that was particularly beneficial for these children was 'Jungle Junction', which unfortunately is not available on Disney Plus. The importance of sensory-friendly television cannot be understated as it can help these children better understand and navigate their world (American Occupational Therapy Association). By adding 'Jungle Junction' and other sensory-friendly shows to its platform, Disney Plus would be taking a significant step towards inclusivity and representation. We call upon the decision-makers at Disney to consider this change that will positively impact countless families worldwide.
