Interest in Hobby Horse riding is quickly on the rise, but there are very few competitions available in the United States, leaving many children without an outlet for their passion. Over the past few years, BreyerFest has been a launching pad for many children to take the leap into Hobby Horsing as enthusiasts come together from all over the world and share ideas. 

At BreyerFest, these children come together and enjoy the Horseless Horse Show, however, there is a void created by not including Hobby Horses (either in this competition OR having a separate Hobby Horse competition). I believe BreyerFest needs to either change the Horseless Horse Show to a Hobby Horse Show (with loaner Hobby Horses for those who do not have Hobby Horses), include a Hobby Horse class in the Horseless Horse Show, or have a separate Hobby Horse Show in addition to the Horseless Horse Show.

Currently there is a stigma attached to hobby horsing that these children must overcome as they pursue their passion. Breyer has the power to encourage, inspire and help end that stigma.
