Inaccurate/ Faulty Toll Machines on the Atlantic City Expressway

The Issue

As a daily commuter on the Atlantic City Expressway, and specifically, through exit 38 and 41 , I, like so many others, experience frustration with the toll machines. Despite correctly paying the requested toll amount, the machines often do not register this accurate payment, resulting in erroneous tickets $50 ticket for a broken 85 cent toll, Our daily working lives are complicated enough without these added inconveniences and unwarranted penalties. It's not a lone, local concern; it represents a larger issue within our community of daily commuters. Many of us have received these unfair tickets, leading to a growing sense of frustration and dissatisfaction.

The problem is twofold - the toll machines are inaccurate, and the system in place is not designed to consider our valid complaints. This issue may seem minor to the officials, but to us, the daily users of these roads, it is a matter of daily inconvenience and financial injustice.

Through this petition, we are urging the city officials and the relevant road agencies to update, calibrate, or replace the toll machines on the Atlantic City Expressway, particularly at the Exit 38 and 41 , to ensure accurate readings.

Furthermore, we call for a fair process to be put in place that can adequately handle and address any discrepancies occurring due to potentially faulty machinery.

Let's stand together for a fair, accurate, and accountable toll system on the Atlantic City Expressway. Please sign this petition.
