To the Board of the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas,

As of this evening, the following events have happened in response to the Artistic Staff resignations:

• 1750 supporters have signed an online petition in support of the Artistic Staff’s wishes beginning with Kimberley Ahrens’ proper rehiring. You may read it here: https://chng.it/BrMCym4S  The petition has been viewed over 10,000 times.

• Loss of significant support from major donors is pending.

• Inquiries about the situation have been made by Fox News and The Dallas Morning News.

We request to know the Board’s plans for the future of CCGD at this juncture. In order to move forward, we implore the Board to:

Agree to negotiate Kim Ahrens’ hire as incoming Artistic Director

Upgrade position Operations Director to 40 hours per week

Send a letter to all informing of the resolutions.
