Brief update:

CCGD supporters, the position of the Board is unknown to us. As of this morning, two letters have been sent requesting reinstatement of Kim Ahrens. Professional guidance is in place on both sides of the situation. The goal/hope is that communication between the Board and the Staff will resume in light of the resignation of 19 staff members and specific potential loss of significant donations to the CCGD.

Your 1800+ signatures have helped demonstrate the passion we all have for this staff. They are an important reminder that the experience they have created is the heart of CCGD. Your numerous comments also have been a bright light for the staff during this very distressing time. They are reading everything you have written and are encouraged while they continue to joyfully bring music to our children in preparation for the May 1 concert. Yes, the May 1 concert is happening! Resignations take place following the concert.
