While we continue to brag that this is islamic republic of Pakistan unfortunately we have forgotten our islamic laws. Today there is a tremendous increase in rape cases. Not only women but children and even transgenders became victims of such brutality. Our government is as silent as deaf. There are not making victims accountable instead these case will again be burdened under  their dead souls. Now it is our right as citizens of Pakistan to stand for our rights. Not only as citizens but also as human beings because I don't think so any country or any religion will appreciate such brutality.  They have no fear of being caught.Our mothers sisters childrens even ourselves are not safe in such brutality. If we couldn't even raise our voice then shame on ourselves. 

As an islamic state, it is meant to enforce law of shariah within jurisdiction but unfortunately it is not happening.

"And those who do not make their decisions in accordance with that revealed by Allah are(in fact) the deniers of truth " 

It  is duty of islamic state to protect the freedom and liberty of every citizen . In constitution of Pakistan it has been clearly stated that, " every citizen shall have the right to remain in , and , subject to any reasonable restriction imposed by law in the public interest, enter and move freely throughout Pakistan and to reside and settle in any part thereof" 

But statement made by CCPO has not only neglected women freedom her rights but also this phrase of constitution. 

Not only in our constitution but also in "Criminal law (amendment) (offences related to rape ) Act, 2016 (Act XLIV of 2016)  amends section 376 of Penal code establishing that whoever commits rape of a minor or a person with mental or physical disability shall be punished with death or life imprisonment" 

Punishment of rape under Pakistani laws is either death penalty ir imprisonment between ten and twenty five years. But unfortunately no such punishment has been given.

In 2002 mukhtaran Bibi was gang raped

In 2005 a women claimed to be gang raped by four police officers

13 year old girl kainat soomro was kidnaped and gang raped for four days

In 2012 three police officers filmed themselves while sexually assauting five women

In January 2014 a gang raped was ordered by village council

Layyah rape incident in 2014

In sep 2014  three sons of mian farooq abduct and gang raped a teenage girl

In july 2017,in Multan as a result of brothers conduct a girls was raped by panchayats order

In December 2017 , a women was gang raped

A girl was raped in 2017 because she married against family wish

In january 2018 , zainab ansari was raped in kasur

In the same month a 16 year old girl was raped in sargodha and a day later a 13 year old boy was sexually assaulted by two men.

On same day a boy was found dead in faislabad due to sexual assault 

Asma , a 3 year old girl was raped in mardan

October 27, a man in sharaqpur sexually assault his 13 year old grand daughter .

More than 500 incidents of child sexual abuse have been reported in islamabd in last five years

Most recently lahore motorway gang rape and rape and murder of 5 year old girl in karachi happened

We have heard news of rape cases till now but never heard about sentence given to those criminals .

I urge you all to stand for our rights, for sake of humanity because allah says "Amar bil maroof wa nahi anil munkir"  

We have to protect ourselves. Instead of shouting to be helped by others in that situation. We have to help ourselves. Always keep a weapon ( a knife, spray or pistol) with you because this government has failed to protect us . Now it is our own responsibility to protect ourselves.
