The safety and security of children, instructors, and staff in the school environment is essential. However, incidents of school violence, unauthorized access, and other security breaches continue to underscore the critical need for stronger school security measures.

                Inadequate school security endangers kids' and faculty members' safety, well-being, and educational experience. It is critical to address this issue in order to foster a learning environment. Comprehensive security measures, such as physical security upgrades, emergency response plans, staff training, and mental health care, must be prioritized in schools. Furthermore, collaboration among schools, parents, law enforcement organizations, and the community is required to create a unified and effective security system. We can protect the safety of our educational spaces and allow children to attain their full potential in a secure and supportive atmosphere by prioritizing and investing in school security.

                First, we need to expand the number of guards at our school. Since Mangaldan National High School is known as the biggest and largest school in Region I, we absolutely need guards to watch over every area of the building. Because we cannot stop the negative things that kids do within our school, it is also necessary that we appoint additional guards who will patrol the area every hour to keep an eye on what is occurring around us. There are bullying incidents that end up in fights or altercations, there are individuals who go over the fence, who vape and smoke, and many others. The terrible things that students do will be lessened with the aid of the guards, and our studies here at MNHS will be lovely and tranquil.

                Second, before students enter the school, it is necessary to check their bags and pockets to see if they are carrying vape or cigarettes. With this method, the number of students vaping and smoking inside the school will be reduced somehow. We need to try our best to avoid negative habits as we all know that they are terrible for our health, especially if we are in school.

                Third, we must increase the fence around our school since, as we have seen, it is very low, allowing a lot of students to walk through and exit. It is better to enhance it so that we can ensure that no children may escape since they could be hurt during this activity, which would produce a problem for our school. It is also appropriate to put a fence in the slaughter area, behind the SHS building and in front of the Tawi-tawi building, because that is where students often escape.

                Fourth, place active security footage in every corner of our school so that we are all aware of what is happening within our school. With this help, we can figure out what we need to change and focus on so that we can act immediately if something goes wrong. 

                Let's be aware of our surroundings and avoid being deaf and blind. We recognize and acknowledge that there are several issues at our school, but there is a method to lessen them. One of the most crucial things we should concentrate on is having proper security in the school, as this is where the calm and quiet inside the campus starts. Bullying, learners who run away, vaping, smoking, and many more things are things we can prevent.
