Living in Cubacub, Mandaue City, like many of my neighbors, I have experienced the distressing situation of unmanaged garbage disposal. Trash is being left outside of bins, attracting stray animals and resulting in unpleasant odors that affect our everyday lives. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a health and environmental hazard that needs immediate attention.

The improper disposal of waste is a pressing issue that has been overlooked for far too long. Stray animals, drawn to the litter, scatter it further, creating an unsightly mess and potentially spreading diseases. The pervasive smell of decomposing waste makes our neighborhood unappealing and uncomfortable to live in. This situation not only tarnishes the beauty of our community but also poses significant health risks to the residents.

To address this problem, we need an immediate action plan from local authorities. Firstly, we propose increasing the number and capacity of trash bins in strategic locations to ensure they are easily accessible and able to accommodate the volume of waste generated by the community. Additionally, regular awareness campaigns about proper waste disposal habits could be conducted to educate residents on how to maintain a clean and healthy environment.

We also urge for a more frequent and efficient garbage collection schedule. By enhancing the current garbage disposal system, we can prevent the accumulation of trash and the issues that arise from it.

Residents of Cubacub deserve a cleaner, healthier, and more pleasant community. We need to come together and push for the implementation of these solutions to make a lasting change.
