As residents of Hoover Beach, Buffalo, NY, we face a unique challenge. Our Verizon cell phones are picking up Canada roaming technology from inside our own homes. This is not only inconvenient but also hampers our professional lives as many of us work from home and depend on reliable cell phone and internet service. It is unprofessional for our phones to cut out mid-conversation or have slow internet connection.

The root cause of this issue lies in the distance between our homes and the nearest cell tower. The signal strength decreases with distance, leading to poor reception and weak internet service. According to a study by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), signal strength can decrease by 20% for every doubling of distance from the tower.

We believe that installing a closer cell tower would greatly improve both our internet service and cell phone reception. We urge Verizon Wireless to take immediate action on this matter so that we can continue to work efficiently without any interruptions due to poor connectivity.
