The track here at UPJ was gifted to us with money from the Steelers and Pitt Football teams back in 1977. Our track is utilized daily by the numerous sports teams at our school, the student body, and members of the Richland community. According to American Athletic Track and Turf, tracks are supposed to be resurfaced once every 8 to 15 years depending on the condition, yet ours has been left untouched and unrenovated since its construction. As a student of UPJ, would you like to see our track get resurfaced and repainted for all of the student body to use?
