My daughter, like many others in Lancashire, relies on the services of the 76 and 78 buses to commute to her job. She purchases a weekly ticket with the expectation of receiving reliable service. However, these buses have proven to be anything but dependable. They frequently deviate from their designated routes, arrive late or not at all, or even refuse to stop despite clear signals from passengers.
This is not just an isolated experience; it's a widespread issue affecting numerous commuters in our community who depend on these bus services for their daily transportation needs. The unreliability of these bus services has resulted in countless instances of tardiness at work and other inconveniences that disrupt our daily lives.
The company operating these buses needs to take this matter seriously. It is unacceptable for paying customers to endure such poor service quality regularly. We need them to acknowledge our complaints, improve their punctuality, stick strictly to designated routes, and ensure that drivers are attentive towards passengers signaling to board at the bus stops.
