The Issue

The Twin City's Youth are calling on the city of Centralia, WA, to take action to improve and restore Fuller's Twin City Skatepark, located at Rotary Riverside Park. This skatepark has served Centralia's Bikers and Skaters across the twin cities, but over time has become worn down, unwelcoming, and unsafe.

Despite being recently renovated in 2015, the park is in a state of disrepair in comparison to its opening in 2004

Many features of the park are broken, warped, or missing altogether; for example, the few remaining ramps aren't even designed for skating. They're poorly placed, mismatched, and are too tall to skate properly, which can make them dangerous for beginners.

These conditions not only make the park less enjoyable but also unsafe for young people seeking a place to practice their sport and express their creativity.

We believe a clean, safe, and updated park will provide: a positive outlet for athletics and activity, a safe space for youth to gather— especially those with no other safe spaces — and community pride in a multi-use public space.

Our goals include:

  • repairing surface damage to ramps and rails
  • removing unsafe features
  • restoring features specifically designed for skateboarding.

We're not just asking for change; we're asking for our voices to be heard. The Centralia skate scene is growing and changing rapidly, and we need your support to help us grow and gain recognition.

Please sign and share our petition to revitalize Fuller's Twin City Skatepark. Every voice helps!

We plan to garner as much community recognition and support as possible so we can approach Centralia's Parks Department, City Council, and potential grant partners. Together, we can make Fuller's Twin City Skatepark a lasting place for generations to come.

Sign, share, and be heard!
