As a daily commuter travelling from Thane to Mira road via Ghodbander road and Gaymukh Ghat, I am compelled to seek attention for the deplorable condition of these roads. What should be a routine journey turns into a mentally and physically draining ordeal each day. Ghodbander road and Gaymukh Ghat that connects to Western Express Highway are riddled with potholes and mud, making the route unpredictable and dangerous. Furthermore, unregulated traffic - particularly trucks - creates long, irksome queues, especially up the ghats. These factors contribute to a significant increase in travel time, affecting personal and professional commitments.

The daily hardships endured by myself and other commuters are further magnified by the damage these roads inflict on our vehicles. The pitiful state of the road is rapidly degrading the condition of my car. Urgent remedial work is needed to fix the potholes and improve the overall road infrastructure.

Adding to the chaos are the numerous trucks that travel from Vashi, through Thane and Ghats. An alternate route for these trucks, such as the existing Bhiwandi roads, might alleviate the heavy traffic situation considerably.

Nobody should have to start their day with such a tumultuous journey or constantly fear for their safety on the road. Therefore, it is with utmost urgency that we urge the concerned authorities to repair and maintain the Thane to Mira road, and establish a systematic plan to regulate truck traffic.
