Many students, myself included, at Empire Beauty School in Avondale, Phoenix Arizona, have openly expressed our concerns about a teacher who continues to work at the school despite numerous complaints about her performance and conduct. These concerns have been repeatedly ignored by the administration and rather than seeing improvements, it feels as if we are back at square one with practically nothing being changed except for now she works as a senior teacher instead.

All of us are extremely unhappy with this outcome as most of us had switched to another classroom in order to be out of hers. Or waiting to become seniors iust so we don't have to be taught by her. Her manner of teaching or lack of teaching is extremely noticeable as often time we are lost or have to fend for ourselves. Being told to google it, leaving even new students with no direction. We paid to be taught by someone with lots of experience, an EXPERT in the industry that we want to enter successfully. Not only that but she does not have a line between teacher and student as she formed cliques with students and has spoken about students behind their backs and driving students apart by creating a toxic atmosphere. Telling a student with attitude "are you done?" When they were simply trying to express some boundaries. Making jokes about how she joked about choking a student because they spoke too much and were "annoying ". Crashing out during class and clocking a student out for no reason. Targeting students and acting with pettiness and passive-aggressiveness. There are too many examples and this has only been what I've observed in my 4 months of being at this school, some more and others less. The fact that there has been this much allowed and more, as ive learned from other students who have been at the school longer, is extremely concerning. Until when is enough enough?

The education we are receiving does not match the substantial amount of money we are investing. It's disheartening to know that whatever efforts we make to voice our dissatisfaction, such as writing letters or signing petitions, are discarded. This makes it feel as though our voices are being erased, our concerns deemed irrelevant and our dreams of quality education slowly slipping away.

We demand immediate action from the administration at Empire Beauty School There is a need for transparency and accountability regarding how complaints are addressed and resolved. The school must implement a clear, fair, and accessible process for handling grievances to ensure that students' voices are heard and respected.

Additionallv, we call for an independent review of the teaching staff to ensure that all educators at the school are qualified, professional. and meeting the standards  expected by the students and accrediting bodies. If a teacher is found not meeting these standards, appropriate action must be taken promptly to rectify the situation

We are not asking for special treatment- just the opportunity to receive the quality education we were promised when we enrolled or to be compensated for the time and money we have spent that has been wasted. It is imperative that this institution values the education and well-being of its students.
