A lonely, dark & narrow road that most drivers & car passengers prefer to avoid, is  Bangalore's Wind Tunnel Road.

The condition of this road has been a subject of constant criticism!

The Wind Tunnel Road is today, the primary connecting road used by hundreds of Bangaloreans  daily, to connect from the Old Airport Road to Bellandur & Marathahalli, so as to avoid heavy traffic.  Past dusk daily; this road gets absolutely dark and has no street lights.

In fact, after 6pm it is really desolate, dark and even scary for women, children and girls to travel. Especially if in an auto or a cab, as there is no light at all on the roads.
This is a serious security hazard!!

We notice so many two wheelers, bikers, cars and at times even pedestrians walking on this poorly lit road.  Repeatedly we have noticed, several accidents happening, as there are so many curves on the road, with practically no lighting at all to aid motorists and travelers.

The idea behind this Petition is to sincerely request the concerned authorities to kindly take action towards improving the street lighting on this entire stretch from HAL road to Sakra Hospital, helping it to be safer for drivers, bikers and people traveling
