I am a resident of Cadence at RTP, Durham, NC. Recently, our community has been plagued by an increase in car break-ins. This is not just a statistic; it's a reality that we live with every day. According to the Durham Police Department's 2019 Annual Report, there was a 7% increase in property crime citywide compared to the previous year. As residents of this community, we deserve better.

In addition to this security concern, there has been an evident decline in the quality of property management and maintenance staff performance. Residents have reported unattended maintenance requests and lackluster response from the management team.

We are calling for immediate action from our property owners and managers. We demand increased security measures to combat car break-ins and thefts within our premises. We also urge for an overhaul of the current property management team or improved training for better service delivery.
