Our local community has been dealing with unsafe conditions on our unpaved street for far too long. Every day, I along with my neighbors brave the uneven, rocky path that poses significant risks. With increased traffic over the years, unpaved roads have proven to be significantly more dangerous than paved streets due to poor traction and control (source: American Public Works Association). Moreover, this lack of proper infrastructure adversely impacts the value of our neighborhood's properties and overall living conditions.

It's vital to note that paving our street not only ensures our safety while commuting, but also contributes to the overall environmental health, reducing the amount of dust and sediment runoff into local water ways (source: Environmental Protection Agency).

It is time for our local authorities to prioritize our safety and overall quality of life. We deserve a safe, paved street in our community - our lives and health depend on it. Act now by signing this petition to improve safety by paving our local street.

We have sent emails and made calls to the city over the past two years in regard to this matter.   We have emails stating that the issue would be resolved, however after multiple replies from the city that the street would get paved nothing has been done.
