At Bear Mountain Tennis Club, the red clay courts are currently in a state that pose significant safety risks to users due to their slippery conditions.  Furthermore, the lack of member facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, cafeteria and clubhouse significantly diminishes the overall experience for members who wish to socialize and engage in other forms of physical exercise. Members were recently informed of an increase in dues for 2024 which are not on par with the current inflation rate and include no new amenities provided by the club. We believe that these improvements will not only enhance safety but also foster a stronger sense of community among members. Therefore, we urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action towards improving both the court conditions and facilities available at our local tennis club.
