Please support our call for a reduced maximum speed limit for Coverack or introduction of other speed reduction measures such as speed cameras, pinch points or ANPR  enabled electronic sign such as the ones operating in Rosudgeon.

We have a wonderful and diverse range of wildlife here in Coverack and have sadly recently lost 2 Hedgehogs, 1 Badger,  2 cats and 2 seagulls to traffic collisions. 

With the increase in new housing in the village the danger to residents (particularly children and the elderly), pets and wildlife is also increasing. 

Vehicles are regularly travelling into and out of the village at speeds well in excess of the current 30mph speed limit and in some cases more likely 50mph.
