Real estate agents rely on technology to efficiently match buyers with the right homes. However, significant filtering limitations within Realm (real estate platform) are making this process unnecessarily difficult.

Modern home searches require precise filtering to narrow down results quickly and accurately. Unfortunately, several key capabilities are either missing or restricted within Realm.

Current Limitations

Examples of these issues include:

• Inability to apply AND logic when filtering basement types

• No client-facing filter for occupancy status (owner-occupied, vacant, tenanted, partially tenanted)

• Important filters available only in agent searches but not in client searches

• Other filtering restrictions that prevent meaningful refinement of property searches

Why This Matters

These limitations slow down the home search process and make it harder for agents to deliver the seamless experience buyers expect.

Agents should be able to efficiently narrow results so clients can quickly identify homes that match their needs. Without proper filtering tools, both agents and buyers lose valuable time.

What We Are Asking For

We urge the developers of Realm (real estate platform) to prioritize improvements including:

• Advanced filtering logic

• Full client-facing filtering capabilities

• Additional occupancy and property condition filters

• Modern search tools that reflect real-world agent workflows
