As a student at MIT with DAS accommodations, I rely heavily on the LWLC lecture recordings for my education. However, the quality of these recordings has declined significantly to the point where they are almost illegible. This is not just my struggle; many students who get overstimulated in lecture halls, cannot attend lectures due to scheduling conflicts, or who have other accessibility needs also depend on these resources.

MIT is renowned for its commitment to innovation and excellence in education. Yet, this issue undermines that reputation by limiting accessibility and hindering effective learning for all students. It's crucial that we ensure every student has equal access to high-quality educational materials.

We propose that MIT invests in improving the quality of lecture recordings, including incorporating multiple camera angles for a more comprehensive learning experience. According to a study by Educause Review, multi-angle videos can significantly enhance understanding and retention of complex concepts (Educause Review, 2019).
