My friends are late to school because of public transportation. In Chicago, unreliable and inaccessible public transit affects countless residents daily. According to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), over 1.6 million rides are taken on an average weekday, yet many face delays and limited access due to outdated infrastructure and insufficient services.

Accessible public transportation is crucial for timely commutes, especially for students who rely on it to get to school. Enhancing the system can significantly improve punctuality, reduce stress, and promote equal opportunities for all residents.
