We believe that the citizens of Toronto are entitled to more accessible, affordable, and efficient transportation. The TTC is plagued with shutdowns and closures, 30% of subway stations are inaccessible to those that use wheelchairs, and price increases have made the TTC more unaffordable. We want to see a elevators implemented in all TTC stations to make life easier for those with disabilities. Additionally, the TTC must move away from rider based funding and instead move more toward government funding. If we succeed in gaining the attention of members of municipal, provincial or even federal government, we can make change for better within the TTC.
