I am a resident of Cabuyao, Laguna and my personal journey towards health improvement has made me realize the urgent need for better public health resources in our community. My own experiences have shown me that being handsome does not exempt anyone from health issues. Despite our city's progress in various areas, there is still a significant gap when it comes to healthcare services.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), non-communicable diseases are on the rise in the Philippines, with heart disease and stroke among the top causes of death. This highlights an urgent need for improved public health resources to help prevent these diseases and promote overall wellness.

Furthermore, access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right recognized by international law. Yet many residents of Cabuyao struggle with this due to lack of facilities or financial constraints.

We must prioritize our community's well-being by ensuring everyone has access to comprehensive healthcare services. Let us urge local government officials in Cabuyao, Laguna to invest more into improving public health resources – from preventive care programs and medical facilities upgrades, down to hiring more qualified medical professionals.
