Hi All,

I’ve recently been scrolling in Facebook through the Traralgon community page and the amount of crime and posts about crime in the plaza I have been seeing is just sickening, personally I was threatened/intimidated by an individual the other day which has also motivated me to create this petition for an attempt at us being heard.

We are sick and tired of the crime in the plaza, youths thinking they run the place intimidating the shoppers and also the workers in stores, one of my family member had a group of teens arrested against their store window a few months ago and that’s not acceptable, with more police or security presence they wouldn’t of even gotten into the plaza. 

As much as making this petition may not do anything we have to at least try something to get some exposure so the police can listen to the rising problem for us and understand it’s becoming a big issue, it’s only getting worse day by day.

Personally I believe even some sort of metal detection system would be a big step towards our future to stop these thugs getting in with weapons and if they do then the police should be in attendance to act upon it asap.

Hopefully this does something for our community and we see changes in the upcoming future, if you want change, please sign this petition.
