As students deeply invested in our education, the ongoing issues within the Health Studies program at Algonquin College are concerning and need immediate attention. We encounter daily challenges that compromise not only our learning experience but also our ability to excel academically.

We've faced confusing and conflicting instructions, with expectations subject to abrupt changes. For example, instructions for the communication module were altered at the last moment. This unpredictability causes significant stress and undermines our confidence in the educational framework meant to guide us towards professional success.

Moreover, communication among the Health Studies staff appears disjointed. Critical updates often contain typographical errors, leaving us puzzled and uncertain about the intended directives. A prime example of this is the confusion regarding whether Level 2 labs should be paperless. Such fundamental discrepancies suggest a broader issue with internal communication that must be addressed.

Additionally, technical issues persist, such as non-functional links to essential learning modules. Recently, the link provided for accessing the communication module was inoperative, compounding our frustration. Incorrect directions and botched attempts to guide us through accessing these resources have left some students unable to complete the assignment, and the resultant situation adversely affects our academic performance.

In light of these challenges, we call upon the Health Studies staff and administration to undertake the following actions:

1. **Establish Consistent Communication:** Implement a standardized protocol for communication updates, ensuring that all information is proofread and accurate before distribution.

2. **Clear and Stable Expectations:** Solidify program instructions and expectations at the outset of each course and refrain from making changes unless absolutely essential, providing ample notice and rationale when changes are unavoidable.

3. **Improve Technical Support:** Ensure all digital resources and links are tested and operational before issuing to students.
