I am an employee at Surfing Goat Dairy, currently undergoing cross-training. It deeply distresses me to witness the deteriorating health conditions of our 325 goats due to inadequate healthcare provisions. These animals are not just a part of our farm dairy; they are sentient beings that deserve proper care and attention.

Recently, there has been a noticeable decline in their enthusiasm and overall health. They have been falling sick more frequently, engaging in fights that result in bruises and bloodshed, and desperately needing more shelter. This situation is not only affecting the goats but also leading employees like myself to feel mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted.

The root cause of this issue lies within the lack of communication and compromise among staff members regarding the welfare standards for these animals. It's high time we address this concern seriously as it directly impacts the wellbeing of these goats.

According to a study by Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (2019), providing appropriate healthcare services can significantly improve livestock productivity while reducing unnecessary suffering amongst animals.

Therefore, we urge Surfing Goat Dairy management to ensure adequate healthcare measures for our 325 goats. We need better communication protocols within staffing concerning animal welfare issues along with sufficient resources dedicated towards improving their living conditions.
