We, the students of Darjeeling Government College, respectfully request the urgent improvement of our essential campus facilities. Our college, known for its academic excellence, must also reflect the highest standards in terms of student amenities. However, there are significant gaps that desperately need to be addressed. Our current toilet facilities are not only insufficient but often in poor hygienic conditions, compromising our health and daily college experience.

Furthermore, a consistent and reliable supply of water in our washrooms is lacking. Water is a basic necessity not only for maintaining hygiene but for our overall well-being and comfort. The availability of clean water should never be in question in an educational institution.

Additionally, we urge the provision of RO-filtered drinking water. Ensuring that we have access to safe and clean drinking water is critical, especially with the option of both normal and hot water. Hot water, in particular, plays a crucial role during the colder months in Darjeeling, contributing significantly to our comfort and hydration.

Darjeeling Government College serves a diverse group of students hailing from various parts of India. This diversity enriches our educational environment but also implies diverse needs, all centered around the necessity for basic amenities to support our academic pursuits effectively.
