Ecole Harris Mill Public School administration has shown a pattern of unacceptable behaviour and inaction in recent years.  Many parents/caregivers have shared their experiences in dealing with the current administration.  From small matters like poor communication about school events to concerns about literacy and curriculum, to issues regarding student safety.

Several concerned parents/caregivers have contacted the UGDSB superintendent Pat Hamilton requesting a public forum for our school community to better understand roles and responsibilities as they pertain to communication and safety as a way to improve the current lack of trust and confidence many are feeling.  To date no commitment, or in some cases responses, have been provided by anyone at UGDSB.  

A forum such as this would only work to improve and reengage our school community.  Our school community is owed more than sweeping issues under the rug.  Our students deserve more than the lackluster leadership of the current administration.

The goal of our petition is to determine what percentage of the school community has a lack of trust with the current administrations ability to address concerns, communicate with the parents/caregivers and/or provide a school environment that feels safe for all students and staff to thrive.  Should there be greater than 100 signatures to this petition it will be presented to the following:
