As a resident of Corner Brook who relies on public transportation, I know firsthand the limitations of our current bus service. The buses only run from Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6PM. This restrictive schedule hampers the mobility of many citizens like me who do not have their own transportation and depend on this service for our daily commute.

Corner Brook is home to approximately 20,000 residents (Statistics Canada). It's reasonable to assume that a significant portion of these residents could benefit from an expanded transit service. We propose an increase in hours to include evenings and weekends with three buses running on a half hour schedule from 7AM to 11PM Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 8AM to 8PM and Sundays from 10AM to 6PM.

This change would greatly improve accessibility for all citizens – enabling us not just go out more freely but also contribute more effectively towards the city's economy by participating in evening and weekend activities without worrying about transportation.
