The Issue

             Improper waste disposal refers to the inappropriate and careless disposal of waste materials, such as rubbish, recyclables, or hazardous substances. It includes a range of actions, from tossing rubbish on the side of the road, to dumping toxic chemicals into water bodies.

             Improper waste disposal is caused by various factors such as lack of knowledge on waste segregation, social problems associated with waste management, improper waste disposal attitudes of residents, lack of proper planning and funding for waste management, and negligence in waste management sector. While the effects of improper waste disposal in schools include an increase in disease transmission, physical hazards, air pollution, and threats to public health.

              In order to prevent improper waste disposal teacher must  teach students about the importance of recycling, composting, and proper waste segregation. By providing adequate and accessible bins, including separate containers for different waste types, is essential and addressing improper waste disposal in schools, we can cultivate responsible environmental habits from a young age, fostering a culture of respect for our  planet and creating a cleaner, healthier learning environment for all.
