Sony recently implemented a change to the PS5 User Interface (UI), which has resulted in-game news becoming the prominent wallpaper on game hubs. This is a substantial alteration from its previous design, which prioritized key game art and cleanliness. The new user interface looks markedly inferior, with full-screen, at times low resolution images advertising games that users already possess and just straight up full screen ads for franchised related games or services such EA play, thereby disrupting the user experience for little gain to Sony or devs/publishers. We urge Sony to acknowledge our dissatisfaction and, consequently, revert to the previous PS5 User Interface design.  Please sign this petition to express your support.
