We live in an era in which we have enough resources to feed everyone, yet nearly 690 million people still suffer from hunger globally according to United Nations data. Almost 9 percent of humanity goes to bed hungry each day. This is abhorrent and it needs to change.

We are calling on global leaders and organizations to set up a universal free food program. This program would help to eradicate hunger and promote food security for all, ensuring that everyone always has access to the most basic human need - food.
