I am a worried parent living in Edam, Sask. Every day, my children and their friends navigate our streets that are constantly bombarded with speeding vehicles — a danger that is particularly concerning due to the presence of a school just across the road.

Our community's safety is at risk. Our children's lives are at stake. We need the village of Edam to take immediate action to control this rampant speeding problem. Potential solutions could include installing speed bumps or a radar speed sign; anything to make drivers think twice before they speed through our streets.

Our demand is not unprecedented. Other communities have seen significant improvements in road safety by implementing similar measures. 

Our children deserve to play outside, walk to school, and live their childhood without fear of speeding vehicles. It's time for the village of Edam to take the necessary steps to protect our children and maintain the peace and safety of our community.
