My 5-year-old daughter came home day after day, telling me that her teacher was twisting her arm. I found it hard to believe until one day, I witnessed it myself. As I walked into the classroom to pick her up early, I saw the teacher's aide - a towering figure of about 6.9 feet - grabbing my little girl's arm and twisting it, forcing her to kneel down and pick up toys. Despite our complaints, the school did nothing; it became a case of our word against theirs.

This is not an isolated incident but part of a larger problem plaguing schools across the country. According to data from Child Protective Services (CPS), educators are responsible for nearly 6% of child abuse cases nationwide. This is unacceptable and needs immediate attention.

We propose installing surveillance cameras in classrooms as a solution to this issue. The presence of cameras will act as an effective deterrent against such abusive behavior while also providing concrete evidence when allegations arise.
