As an international student at Reichman University, I am personally affected by the lack of reliable and affordable transportation options in Herzliya. Without a personal vehicle, my only means of getting around are public transportation and taxis. However, taxis are expensive and not a feasible option for students like me who have limited funds. Public transportation in Herzliya is notoriously unreliable and can even feel unsafe at times.

Moreover, the parking situation on campus is far from ideal. It's not uncommon to hear friends and teachers complaining about spending an average of 20 minutes just trying to find a parking spot - this is simply unacceptable.

The solution? We urge Reichman University and Herzliya Municipality to commission subsidized transportation for students. This service would include routes from campus to key locations such as the mall, train station, Herzliya Pituach, the beach, and Tel Aviv.

Not only would this make life significantly easier for international students like myself but it would also help alleviate the current parking problem plaguing our university.
