As a concerned member of the TIS community, I am deeply troubled by the lack of discipline regarding waste segregation among students. Our school has always prided itself on fostering an environment of responsibility and awareness, yet the absence of strict rules and enforcement in managing waste is noticeable.

Waste segregation is not just a routine procedure—it's an essential practice that significantly impacts our environment. According to the United Nations Environment Programme, inadequate waste management contributes to pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change. Schools, as centers of learning and future-building, have a crucial role in instilling environmentally friendly habits in students. By neglecting proper waste segregation, we fail to impart these critical values.
