The Issue

The distressing story of two women who tortured baby monkeys for fun, with the perpetrators receiving light sentences – two years for one and merely fifteen months for the other, compels us to take action. The current legal penalties for such heinous acts are incomprehensibly lenient, considering the immense suffering innocent creatures endure for the perverse pleasure of some.

Animals are sentient beings, deserving of rights, respect, and protection from cruelty. Unfortunately, there are a shocking number of animal torture incidents every year, with consequences far from severe enough to deter such actions effectively. For example, in the United States alone, the Humane Society reported an estimated 1,000,000 animals abused annually. With such statistics, it becomes ever more apparent that our justice systems worldwide need a fundamental escalation in penalties for animal cruelty.

Let us band together and demand that the legal penalties for this 'abuse beyond belief' are made significantly stricter. Longer sentences for perpetrators can serve as a more effective deterrent and more accurately reflect the severity and unacceptability of such actions. Future instances can be prevented, and justice can be served for the helpless animals that have already suffered.

Every signature counts towards making a change. Please, sign and share this petition to advocate for stricter penalties against animal cruelty and end the needless suffering of innocent animals at the hands of humans. Let's make the world a kinder place for our animal companions. Please, make every effort to support, sign, and share.and get it taken off the net make these sites illegal and taken down thank you
