Recent distressing incidents include a fatal paragliding crash in Rohtak; a fire in a gaming zone in Rajkot that claimed 32 lives; a ride malfunction in Delhi leading to the death of a woman; stranded tourists in Chennai; and multiple paragliding deaths in Himachal Pradesh.

These are not mere isolated accidents, but a frightening pattern that points towards a lack of enforceable safety standards and robust regulations in the entertainment and adventure sports industry of India. This petition calls upon the Indian authorities to strictly implement safety procedures and regular inspections of the equipment and facilities of such venues. The lives of citizens and tourists should never be put at stake for the sake of thrill. It's high time we prioritize safety over entertainment. We, the undersigned, support the complaint submitted by Justice Action Network to the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), and demand:

✅ National safety and inspection standards for rides & adventure sports
✅ Mandatory training/licensing for operators
✅ Regulation of online platforms like BookMyShow, Thrillophilia, Paytm, etc.
✅ A centralized accident reporting and consumer redressal mechanism
✅ A public safety awareness campaign under “Jago Grahak Jago”
