As a concerned student of Surigao Del Norte National High School, I have personally witnessed the negative impacts of lax security measures. Our school has become an open ground for outsiders who can freely enter and exit without any identification. This has led to numerous accidents and fights within our premises, creating an unsafe environment for students.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 1,066 reported cases of violence in schools across the country in 2019 alone. Although not all these incidents are directly related to lax security measures like ours, it is undeniable that implementing stricter policies can significantly reduce such instances.

We believe that enforcing a 'No I.D., No Entry' policy will ensure only authorized individuals - students, faculty members and staff - have access to our school grounds. This will not only enhance security but also foster a more conducive learning environment for us students.
