Implement Strategies to Combat Procrastination Among Students and Individuals

The Issue

Procrastination is a widespread issue that affects students and individuals in their daily tasks, particularly in Pagbilao, Quezon, Philippines. This habit can lead to stress, poor performance in school or work, and even mental health issues. According to a study by the American Psychological Association, approximately 80-95% of college students engage in procrastination (APA). Furthermore, a survey conducted by the University of Calgary revealed that procrastination was identified as a problem for 50% of the population (University of Calgary).

We call upon educational institutions and workplaces to implement strategies such as time management workshops or mindfulness training that have been proven effective against procrastination. By doing so we can improve productivity and mental health among our community members. By addressing the root causes of procrastination and providing support mechanisms, we believe that we can foster a more conducive learning environment that enables students to thrive academically and personally.

We urge everyone who cares about this issue to sign this petition; together we can make a difference!
