I am an animal lover and it breaks my heart to see them terrified every time fireworks explode in the sky. But it's not just animals who suffer; many people, including the elderly and those with PTSD, are also deeply affected by these loud explosions. Fireworks may be a symbol of celebration for some, but for others they represent fear and distress.

In fact, according to a study by the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), 45% of dogs in the UK show signs of fear when they hear fireworks. This is not just about pets at home either; wildlife can also be seriously disturbed or harmed by firework displays.

Therefore, we propose that all fireworks should be made silent as a solution that allows everyone - humans and animals alike - to live without this unnecessary stress. By making this change, we can still enjoy beautiful firework displays without causing distress or harm.
