I am, like many of you, a resident of unincorporated Nottingham Park, Stickney Township, IL. We have been facing a crisis—our community is being overrun with traffic, garbage, human excrement, and crime from the overflow of concert goers at the SeatGeek Stadium.

Our once peaceful community now experiences frequent disturbances, particularly during festivals and events. The influx of outsiders not only brings noise but also has been accompanied by unfortunate incidents of crime.

Moreover, the lack of sanitation measures has deteriorated the hygienic conditions of our community. The overflow of festival goers leads to widespread littering and misuse of public areas.

This is a matter of great urgency and requires the relevant authorities to intervene. We need to establish a secure system to manage the impact of stadium events. We demand for barricades to manage flow and police presence to monitor, deter crime and manage traffic violations during these events.

We are not against the stadium or events, but the wellbeing of our community should not be compromised. It is time to make it clear to the relevant bodies that this situation is not sustainable, and immediate measures are needed.
