According to a study conducted by the Philippines Statistics Authority in 2019, only 28% of households in the country practice proper waste segregation. This means that more than half of us are contributing to environmental degradation without even realizing it.

We need immediate action from our local government to implement stricter regulations on trash segregation. We need educational campaigns on how each household can contribute to solving this problem. We need recycling facilities that are accessible for everyone.
