The Issue

Hey everyone! I want to talk about something very important that affects countless Instacart shoppers across the country: the weekly adjustments. For those who don’t know, Instacart offers something called weekly adjustments, which I absolutely loved when I was in California. Every Thursday, Instacart checks if our earnings meet the hourly minimum wage based on the hours we worked, excluding tips. If not, they cover the difference. They even consider the distance driven, helping with gas costs.

Today, as I checked the app, expecting my weekly adjustment, I was shocked to find nothing, not even pending. After some searching, I discovered that this crucial adjustment system is exclusive to California. It's insane to me that California is the only state ensuring we're fairly paid for our hard work and expenses. Doesn't everyone deserve to earn at least a minimum wage? Why should it stop at California?!

This is not just a perk; it’s a necessity. Every single state should implement these weekly adjustments to ensure fair compensation and a decent quality of life for instacart shoppers nationwide. It's not just about love for California, it's about fairness and respect for the hard work we all do, no matter where we are.

Let's call for change that extends beyond one state. Let's demand Instacart implement these weekly adjustments throughout the entire country. Everyone deserves fair pay, no matter where they live. Without this, many shoppers are left struggling to make ends meet.

Please join me in this cause. We need to push for nationwide weekly adjustments in Instacart. Sign this petition to urge Instacart to ensure fair pay and help cover fuel costs in all states, not just California. Together, we can make this change happen.
