It started with my friend, who tragically lost their life in an apartment fire. This personal loss has driven me to ensure that such a tragedy doesn't repeat itself in anyone else's life. Today, many apartment buildings lack basic fire safety measures, putting countless lives at risk. Fire deaths in residential buildings constituted 73% of all fire fatalities from 2014 to 2016, as per the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Mandatory fire safety measures in all apartment buildings can greatly reduce these numbers. This includes the installation of fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, fire escapes, and regular safety drills. These preventative measures save lives, reduce property damage, and provide individuals with precious time to escape in the event of a fire. No resident should have to live with the fear of a preventable fire hazard.
