This petition stems from a deeply personal experience. A member of my family fell victim to cyberbullying, leading them into one of the darkest periods of their teenage years. The incident was facilitated by the anonymity that currently exists on Facebook, where users can easily create fake profiles without any form of identity verification.

I believe that mandatory face and identity verification for all users will significantly reduce such incidents by ensuring every user is held accountable for their actions online. It's time we prioritize safety over convenience.
