Implement Lower Selling Fees on eBay

Implement Lower Selling Fees on eBay
The Issue
Today, I write with passion borne from personal concern, echoed by countless other hit by this economical predicament. Like many, I am a seller on eBay and painfully acknowledge the excessive selling fee hovering at 13.25%, a figure dramatically higher than competitors like Venmo, Paypal G/S, and Veriswap who charge a meager 2% fee. Many other platforms like Craigslist, charge even less. The disproportionate fee imposed by eBay plunders our earnings, leaving us questioning the justification of such policies.
The economic repercussions are not constrained to the sellers alone, but also deflate the eBay user base. We believe eBay, already a billion-dollar corporation, can potentially attract significantly more users by listening to us, reviewing and recalibrating its fee structure. Imagine the profitability eBay would gain, not by burdening its sellers, but by expanding its marketplace to accommodate millions of additional users motivated by rational service charges!
It's time for eBay to align with competitive principles and acknowledge that they don't need to lever a 13.25% seller fee to profit, but integrate market-friendly strategies that would ultimately serve their growth ambitions and our economic interests simultaneously.
Lower fees mean happier sellers, a larger user community, and robust financial health for eBay. We've acknowledged this truth. Now eBay must do the same. Please sign this petition to urge eBay to lower their selling fee and create a more affordable marketplace for all.
